DS OR LITE ? which 1 should i buy nintendo ds or lite ?what is the difference between the two ?where can i get it at a cheap price ?

ok here are all of the differences between the two, well why the ds lite is better (i have one in my hand right now) its smaller, the status lights are in a more visible place, the microphone is in a different place – in the middle, the start and select buttons are now below the AXYB buttons, the power button is on the side, the stylus is longer and thicker, longer battery life, brighter screens, game boy advance game slot protector. there you go, i would suggest getting a ds lite, i upgraded and i like it a lot better than the regular ds

I wanted to trade in my nintendo ds for the nintendo dsi deal. The only thing im missing is the gameboy slot,and the box it came in. Will they still do full credit for it????

I bought a Nintendo DS Lite for my son the other day, and found a game he likes for a good price, but it is only the nintendo ds, not the Lite version for the game. Will it still work in the Nintendo DS Lite?

yes, the ds lite is just a brigher lighter version of the original DS. all games for the DS will work for the DS lite.

My dad has bad eyes and therefor I’m trying to find the best color. I think the different colors of nintendo ds have a certain impact on the screen. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think a black NDS gives the clearest view. I would like to hear your experiences if you had the opportunity to compare different colors.

Black is the best for those eyes not that good because contain no brightness just so it won’t shine your eyes.

Hey I recently purchased a game for the DS called Dragon Quest V from Amazon.co.uk because I had a gift certificate which could only be used there. The dealer had a 99% positive rating and was the seller that was referred right on the Amazon profile page for that game.

Not sure if I’m being paranoid or not, its a UK game so its a bit different but I just want to make sure its definitely not fake. From what I researched online, the cart appears legit -

1) It has the code NTR-YV5P-EUR on the front
2) The sticker is placed on correctly, no screw on the front
3) The back has the etched "Nintendo NTR-005 PAT. PEND." followed by a code in black ink "YV5PN0J22"
3) The chip is gold
4) The green bar on the chip has the code "▼DI J-4 Y08-01"
5) The case and manual are in vibrant colors, no smudging or blurry text

Ok, so what is concerning me are these 2 things:

1) The health & safety booklet is black with white text, it has white pages inside, but is folded up as compared to my US games where its a white booklet with a staple.
2) The catridge sticker – everything seems to check out except the words "The Hand of the Heavenly Bride" in the logo are so tiny that you can’t even read them. I’m not sure if this is because they were too many words and the logo was smushed in a small spot.

I don’t own a DSi. I hear you can tell if the game is fake because DSi won’t play it. I have a DS Lite and the game seems to be working fine. So can someone help me out here?
I had contacted the dealer beforehand to ask about this and he all their products were brand new (it was factory sealed) and genuine.

If his rating is REALLY HIGH such as his, he won’t want to be giving out fake games,
If your that worried by it you can send it back, but by the sounds of things everything is alright,

My sister is wanting a Nintendo DS for her birthday. She already as a GBA… and I have found a very cheap DS, but it doesn’t come with the charger cord.

Do you know if the cords are interchangeable?

The regular ds works with the gameboy advance SP charger.

However, the NEW nintendo ds LITE does have a separate charger. If this one doesn’t, you can buy one from gamestop for around $5-$10.

You might want a screen protector, not necessary, but good if your sister is under 8 or so.

Is the wi-fi connection that’s built in to the nintendo ds Lite only for connecting with other DS?

Or can you also surf the net?

BUT if you want to browse the internet you have to buy a brower from Opera Software (there is one for the regular DS and then one for the DS Lite).
The processor is a little slow and it can’t process sound or video but it’s pretty good for sites like google, amazon, wikipedia etc…

Can a Nintendo Wii play Gameboy Advanced games and/or nintendo ds games on the tv like the gamecube could? I’m thinking about buying one but can’t decide if I should go with a Nintendo DS or get the whole package. If it can do I have to buy a special console expansion or disc for it?
