I was thinking about selling my Game Boy Advance SP to buy a Nintendo DS Lite, I have been wanting to play New Super Mario Bros.

However, I would still like to continue playing my favorite Game Boy Advance games on the Nintendo DS. I know this console is backward compatible with all Game Boy Advance titles but are there any drawbacks, my Game Boy Advance SP plays all of my games flawlessly.

How does the Nintendo DS Lite perform in contrast to the Game Boy Advance SP?

It should be fine, in fact I’m told that playing the games on the nintendo ds will increase the colour quality compared to the game boy advance because of the capability of the DS colour display.

I am looking to buy a broken ds lite for parts. The problem is, I don’t want to bid on ebay for one. I want a buy it now price. Does anyone know where I can purchase one from?

You can buy parts through Nintendo. Call them to find a parts store near you.

My friend and i have 2 Ds’s and 2 GBA’s and are trying to trade with a DS or GBA. With the GBA we are using a connection cable. Please help.
P.S. I have tried through a connection cable and it has not work but idk if I’m doing it the right way

you cant trade them with a DS since they are not DS games but if you have a link cable you can use a gba. but to trade on leaf green you have to have: a national dex and complete getting the sapphire and ruby for celio on the sevi islands.
and actually u can migrate both Ruby and Sapphire

I want to buy a regular nintendo ds Lite but I’m wondering if I should wait and see if prices come down soon now that the DSi is out. I’ve been looking on Craigslist and Ebay for a good deal. Is anyone more "in the know" about price changes than I am?

As long as the DS sells as well as it has been, the price won’t be dropping.

No telling what the DSi’s launch will do to DS sales at this time, we’ll have to wait and see.

I don’t have a Gameboy Advance, but I am planning on getting a second nintendo ds. Will I be able to trade my Pokemon from Sapphire to Emerald just using two Nintendo DS systems? I don’t think I will have WiFi (Internet) but aren’t they supposed to wirelessly be able to trade?

No. You can only trade between those two games if you have two GBAs, and a link cable/ 2 GBA wireless adapters. Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver are the only games that are capable of trading with each other using the Nintendo DS’s Wireless capability’s.

yes and if you didnt know in the second floor in the room with mirrors all over use this invisibility thing to go through the mirrors and get a secret star and warrios painting

No, but it’s the other way around. If you just own a DS, then it’s like you own both a GBA and a DS.
