My nintendo ds lite is sorta new , but the bottem screen has some scratches and very few on the top one. Also , how much would i get from selling "Super Mario 64 DS" ? Im just wondering since my brother kept telling me to sell it back.

yes always. but i wish they hadn’t come up with the 4th generation of pokemon. the first 450(or something) were the best. now they’re just running out of ideas and making the whole thing lame.

It matters. Matters where you buy it (Costco, Target, etc.). Matters if you are wanting to buy it alone (which is only the gaming system), or if you want to buy the bundle pack (bundle pack comes with the car charger, extra stylists, cases for games, and a case with a zipper for your DS)

This is my first time buying a DS console. The lack of GBA slot is not a problem as I owned a GBA SP. So which DS should I buy?
I am leaning towards the DS Lite but Nintendo says they might make more games in the future which requires the camera on DSi.

The DSi is much better. Unless you want to play one of the like 5 out of 400 DS games it cannot play (such as guitar hero because of the duo slot). There are much more features than one would think on the DSi, and I can explain it to you in the simplest way possible. The DSi is like a portable Wii with more features, but less memory and less power (memory doesn’t really matter because the DS games are cartridges). Overall, the DS lite doesn’t even hold a candle to the DSi. The DSi is the best buy for you, especially since you have the GBA so most things you don’t miss out on. Plus the DSi has a DSiWare version of guitar hero you can download when you first buy it (before Oct. 5th ONLY will you get the 1000 free points and you have to be in US). Good luck on your choice and yes, Nintendo is planning on making the DS lite obsolete in about 2 years (by making most games DSi exclusive or DSi enhanced) so there’s another reason to buy the DSi.

all i know about them so far are that they are like hack versions of the original game u can download off the internet but how do u play it in ur gameboy?? i have gba sp and i have pokemon emerald and want to finish the pokedex and only way i know how is to get some emerald 386 rom or something and how do i get that and play it on my gameboy? please help. thanks.

I got a Nintendo DS Lite and then bought a nintendo ds adaptor, but it doesn’t seem to fit (too big). I looked at pictures of a Nintendo DS Lite adaptor, but it looks the same. I don’t want to buy it and have it also not fit. (Not close to a store to physically check.)

the ds lite adapter is a lot smaller…. make sure it says for Nintendo DS lite

Mario:
Once you obtain 8 stars, enter the rec room and unlock the 8 star door. Jump into the Mario picture and defeat Goomboss to obtain the key for Mario’s Room.

Luigi:
After unlocking the red ! boxes, go to the castle courtyard. Punch the giant boo with the cage inside of him to enter Big Boo’s Haunt. Obtain the first star by defeating all the Boos to get the staircase. In the second goal, as Mario, go up the stars and into the room with the single bookshelf. Use the fire flower to float up to the room above, where you’ll find a Luigi painting. Jump through the painting and defeat Big Boo to get Luigi’s key.

Wario:
After obtaining 30 stars and defeating Bowser for a 2nd time, head up to the second castle floor and enter the room where Snowman’s land. On the left you’ll see a Luigi painting, but its reflection in the mirror will be a Wario painting. Get the flower to turn invisible and walk through the mirror to appear on the opposite side. Jump into the Wario painting to enter the level. Defeat Chief Chilly to obtain the key for Wario’s Room.

If not why not? Because I was hoping to be able to play my game boy color games on my nintendo ds Lite System [when I get one] but I want to be sure that ALL of my game boy games work on it BEFORE I buy one. So if anyone could help me I would truly appreciate it thanks.

No, you can not play Game Boy or Game Boy Color games on the DS, DS Lite, or the new DSi which will be here sometime this spring/summer.

You can play Game Boy Advance games on the DS and DS Lite, but not on the DSi, which has no extra slot.

Basically:

DS and DS Lite: No Game Boy or Game Boy Color. Yes Game Boy Advance

DSi: No Game Boy, Game Boy Color, or Game Boy Advance games.

is 130 in all places.
