Tell them about the wiifit board and how it helps with excercise and balnce
Tell them about brain traininhg and how it has proven results to boost intelligence
Tell them that it can bring the whole family together in quiz games.
If all else fails then promise to pay for half of it or do chores etc.
Nowadays you can get them second hand quite cheap so if you were prepared to get a second hand console then you could telll them how cheap they are

I want to Get a nintendo ds Lite – Red in America because its cheaper than buying it in the UK.
It should work. There’s no particular region on the DS consoles – I’ve bought US games to play on a UK DS and they’ve worked perfectly fine, so it should work the other way too.

If I were you I’d just ask instore how much – that’s what I always do when I sell my DS games to GAME.

I just noticed some games are DS Lite ONLYs. Care to explain?? I have an original DS and I noticed when purchasing a game that a nearby game said "For nintendo ds Lite ONLY" on the package. Also, in your opinion, which system do you prefer more? My mom’s trying to convince me to exchange my DS for a DS Lite.
Compared to the DS, the DS Lite is smaller, lighter, has a brighter screen (featuring four brightness levels), a larger stylus and longer battery life. The casing has also been redesigned.
So far no games have been released that are "DS Lite only". The only ones that are use Game Boy Advance cartridges.
This is because the smaller dimensions of the DS Lite mean that GBA cartridges stick out about 1cm from the console and do not sit flush within as with the original DS. Because of this, some accessories such as the DS Browser data pack and the Nintendo MP3 Player come in specific DS and DS Lite sizes.
The "For Nintendo DS Lite ONLY" notice may also just a marketing aide, denoting games exclusive to DS systems or to get customers to buy a DS Lite over an original DS (which is not in production any more).

Animal Crossing is a fun game. There is also The World Ends With You. Great game and storyline. The gameplay is truly unique as well. It does have an online feature, but I forgot what it is for. If you like Pokemon, then that’s another good online game.
