Jory must really dislike Nintendo for some reason, ’cause once again he has decided to nuke one of their systems. Jory doesn’t need those fancy touch screens – he just one that tells him how long it’ll take to nuke up the portable gaming market’s best seller. So, you’re probably wondering, Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This? Tune in to find out.
Twice a week, microwave specialist Jory Caron microwaves different objects… so you don’t have to! The “Jory Caron Microwave Laboratory II” is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with tinfoil shielding, a ventilation system, emergency surge protectors, safety clothing, and of course – a General Electric turntable microwave named Lacey.

I really want a certain nintendo ds game, but I unfortunately don’t have $160 dollars to spend right now. I do have a Gameboy SP and Advance lying around, though. I know that GameBoy advance games can be played on the DS, but can DS games be played on the GameBoys?
And should I even bother buying the DS, if there’s a newer model coming out soon? I would appreciate it if tech-savvy people would help me with this.
Are you in the us? Because nintendo ds’s cost 129.99 here,plus whatever tax. You can’t play ds games on a gameboy advance unfortunately, the slot is too big. You can however play gba games on a ds, there is an extra slot provided.
I havent heard of any new ds version coming out. The ds lite came out in June of 2006. It has a brighter screen and better battery than the original ds. If you live in the US, and have a gamestop near you, try looking there to see if you can find a used ds at a reduced cost. You might even be able to find a regular ds on ebay for cheap. Good luck.
I getting Legend of zelda links awakening for gameboy but i dont have the original gameboy only DS and GBA so will an original gameboy cartrige work on a DSlite or GBA?
the original big grey gameboy games wont work on the ds lite or original ds. However, the gba and gba sp can play original gameboy games.

Does anybody know if nintendo ds gameboy colour and gameboy advance systems and games last forever if kept in perfect condition

well, if kept in perfect condition, i’m sure it’ll will fine, given that you replace the battery from time to time…forevers a long time though…
I heard you can transfer or trade Pokemon captured on a Gameboy Advanced to a Nintendo DS. My son wants to sell his old Gameboy Advanced system and games to buy new games for his DS but he does’nt want to loose his Pokemon. Can they be transfered to another system,if so how do we do it?
He has the Fire Red for Gameboy advanced and Diamond for the DS .
So how exactly would he transfer them into his Diamond for DS,he has tried to but cant figure it out?
Well, the Pokemon aren’t stored on the system, they’re stored on the game cart. Since the nintendo ds can play all Gameboy Advance games, he has nothing to worry about if he sells his GBA. However, he can’t trade his Pokemon on one GBA game to another from a Nintendo DS nor can he battle against his friends, so if he likes to trade/battle with his friends, he should keep the GBA. He can put his GBA Pokemon onto a NDS Pokemon game if he wants through something called the Pal Park in the NDS version, but he won’t be able to use this function unless he meets certain requirements in the game, which may take him awhile to do.

Well, PSPs can play some DVDs, can go on the Internet, and of course, play games. With Nintendo DS’s you can use the stylus (the pointer thing) to play most games and use Pictochat, a thing which 2 to 16 nintendo ds’s within 30 feet can communicate by drawing words and objects. Also, you can play with other Nintendo DS’s that have the same games within 30 feet. Gameboys can play games and by buying certain attachments you can use play games with other Gameboys and can communicate by using the buttons to select letters to send to them. I don’t know really of any other portable game consoles, but there probably are a few.
There are texture errors with the emulator, it isn’t the game’s fault.

Because I’m quite confused on which one to buy. The games I wanted to play are available on both console.

-DS has dual screens, and for GBA games, you get to choose which screen you want the game to appear on. (On the NDS menu options)
Touchscreen won’t react to any GBA games, though.
-Backlight.
-Slot for both GBA and DS games. Can’t play original GB games on, however.
-Uses an adapter for charging, no batteries.
-Folds in half.
__GBA__
-No backlight.
-Plays GBA and GB games.
-Takes batteries, doesn’t charge.
-Doesn’t fold in half.
