You could just adjust the level of brightness to whatever feels comfortable to you. And as for making more money. Do you have any family member or friend that needs help around the house or needs to sdread junk mail. When I need some money I just ask my aunt if she needs help around the house. She always gives me and my sister money for helping her sort through junk mail. Try saying "I need only a little bit more money to buy my Nintendo DS Lite, so I was wondering if you needed help around your house." And then you could work out a price. It's just recommended that you keep as far away from the screen as possible. If they're worried about the reflection and glare and such, then you could ask to get contacts. As for money, look around your town at supermarkets, cafes, general stores, etc. to see if they need anyone to work for them. A job reels in money like nothing. But apart from that you could do chores and earn allowance money, do odd jobs for your neighbours/neighbourhood and earn money that way. Sell anything you don't want, too.
