the circuit writer pen is only good for getting power from point a to point b ..it does not have the strength of solder, and i dont recommend using it for holding a part in place

my ds still works just fine, but remember that fuses are there to prevent damage … this is just a good why to show how simple it is to get your ds to power back up..

I thought about picking up a tube of CircutWriter but I have a question about it.
After using this stuff does it dry hard, hard as soder would be?
I need to jump fuses and replace the power switch and I would like to use the circutwriter but if it’s not strong enough after dring to hold the power switch there then i need to soder it then.
Thought I would ask before I take my next step.

Hi, when scrapping the fuses do you scrape the metalic parts only or the entire fuse? last question whe applying the the liquid, do you apply to the entire fuse or just the metalic parts only? also would there be a problem if some of the liquid spills a bit in the mother board where the fuse is at? just scratch the solder points Softly on the ends of the fuses so there wont be any clearcoat or enamel getting in the way
