Would the Nintendo DS Lite games from the UK work in a American DS Lite console?

I want to Get a nintendo ds Lite – Red in America because its cheaper than buying it in the UK.

It should work. There’s no particular region on the DS consoles – I’ve bought US games to play on a UK DS and they’ve worked perfectly fine, so it should work the other way too.

    in a nut shell no. these systems also run on the same region issue that consoles do. if you buy a us ds lite you would have to buy imported games from the states or canada.
