Which one do you like the best? The Nintendo, Playstation or the Xbox? I think I like the Playstation because I am just used to playing on it.
I would say Playstation 2 is the best system I ever owned; with it’s 1,800 and still growing library of games. Second would be my nintendo ds cause it’s always fun playing against your friends. My PSP 2000 cause when I’m on long trips and cool to watch a movie or play games. Then My Nintendo Gamecube cause that little thing really has some cool games, and last my xbox360 just cause it’s always fun to frag some noobs in Call of Duty 4. ^_________^
I like them all; But if I had to choose.
I’d go with Nintendo First, Just because I grew up with it.
Then probally playstation.
And last Xbox, Just because I think its a wannabe playstation

i own all of those…
PS3 has best graphics, but fewer games.
Xbox has more games but fewer graphics (less expensive)
the wii is more a family thing or kids thing, so it doesnt offer alot of cool games.
I’d have to say the xbox

Right no I own a PS2, PSP, and an Xbox 360. But I think out of all three, I play my PSP the most because I can mod it and put all kinds of cool applications on it…not to mention free games…Xbox is an awesome system as well with a great online community. Once you get all the extras (headset, online adapter, maybe a keyboard) you’ll probably be playing for hours. An of course PS2 has a large library of great games. I still play that from time to time too.
I grw up with Nintendo but I will NEVER buy another Nintendo product after the death of the gamecube. I bought a gamecube when it first came out and was highly disappointed only playing it for Phantasy Star Online. And the new systems (DS and Wii) are so gimmicy. It’s like all the games (besides the 1st party games) are stupid and hell and aren;t worth buying. My brother has a wii and I play it for about an hour then get bored or an arm cramp from holding the damn remote.

I’ve had PS2-3, xbox and xbox 360, nintendo 64 and ds, I haven’t had Wii yet. From my experience xbox 360 is the way to go for that "gamer" feel. Xbox live is great and the choice of games is far better than other platforms. Worst is ps3 graphics are better. I’d vote 360 easy though.

I think there is no wrong or right in your decision, and in the eye of the beholder. I personally play my 360 more than I do my PS3 and Wii put together, but in the end, it’s up to you. Here are my reasons for playing 360 more…
I greedily have ALL systems, and while I think both are great for different reasons, I’d say I like and play with the 360 more. This is mainly because if love XBOX 360’s online and live arcade is incredibly stellar. The games in Live arcade are endless, and if you like old school games like Frogger, Contra, Castlevania, you can’t go wrong with the 360. The PS3 has exclusives too and I loved Killzone 2, but 360’s got some good exclusives too.
As for the games, both games has 90% of what the other console has, although the 360 has many more exclusives on XBOX Live Arcade. Each system has some nice exclusives too, but in the end, that shouldn’t be your deciding factor.
The PS3 is a very reliable machine and it will probably last a good long long time and I’ve not heard of them breaking often. The dreaded Red ring of death is a problem for the older 360’s, but with the newer consoles, this seems to have been resolved. And Microsoft fixes them for free if it does happen, so to me, that doesn’t seem like a big deal.
The other big factor, for me anyway, is that the 360 plays most of the older XBOX games and nearly fully backwards compatible. Contrary to what some believe, the PS3 is NOT backwards compatible. However that not always been true. The original PS3’s did at one time play PS2 and PS1 games, but the newer ones do not and it was removed to cut costs for development. That’s a big no no and Sony should have taken into consideration the people who kept their PS2 and PS1 games and want to continue to play them. Big strike against Sony.
Now Nintendo Wii. I think this is a niche system. But I however am a historic legend for playing Nintendo has a kid and man I love seeing these games on my Wii. One thing the Wii has is the amazing Virtual Console which is right up there with XBOX Live arcade. I can download classic games from the N64, SNES, NES and Sega Genesis. This is an incredible addition and if you love old games, you’ll going to want to consider Wii too. The drawback with the virtual console is that the games are not online. So consider that, as most of XBOX Live arcade games are online. The games made directly by Nintendo are the best. Fans simply cannot miss out on the classic Zelda games and the ability to download them is amazing.
The latest, Punchout for the Wii is the most addicting game I’ve played in a long time and breathed life back into the Wii for me. I have to say, one of the best games ever. But as a whole, if you consider yourself a hardcore gamer and want the best online experience, go with PS3 or XBOX 360.
As for games, with the exception of a few exclusives for each, both consoles have similar games. 360 has more due to being out first and XBOX Live has a tons of games. For PS3, they got a few exclusives on the PSN store and a few on market. Metal Gear Solid and Killzone 2 are my favs on the system and I really like Resistance 2. XBOX 360, best games for exclusives are probably Fable, Gears of War 2 and Halo 3. Wii has Zelda and Mario which are must have games for Wii owners.

I’m a gamer and own these systems.
NINTENDO, Always original ,and inovative.
The history of videogames is still being developed by Nintendo, DS is solid as rock, with unique games that go from brain games like Profesor Layton, to shooters like Metroid prime, the classicals Mario and Zelda, that simply couldnt be surpassed..
Wii doesnt have a lot of games. So i have to agree, it is not for hardcore Gamers, but for normal people that has a life, its great.

I think that consoles should be judged on their games, and I think all 3 of these have had some excellent games out on their consoles.
However I would have to say Nintendo are my favourite overall. They are always the innovators. I’m not just talking about the Wii and DS – way back in the NES days they were always trying something new. Without Nintendo I don’t think the other 2 would have progressed to where they are today. Sony and Microsoft are more in it for the money – they have no "heart" in their games!
Obviously Nintendo care about money too, but to me they just seem to be 100x more passionate about the games they make. I think some people are resentful of them because they used to be all for gamers and now they are centering around casual players as well, but it’s not fair to criticise them for this as there are tons of games, especially for the DS, that could never be described as casual!
And if you look at the games that are actually made by Nintendo themselves, rather than 3rd party developers, you’ll see that they are still very much true to their original fan base!
For these reasons I think Nintendo are the best, but Sony and Microsoft are good too. They all have done some pretty amazing stuff.

Are you trying to compare brands or specific consoles?
If brands, I’d have to say Xbox is the low man on the totem pole, just because it’s so young and inexperienced in comparison to the other two. Microsoft has only marketed two game consoles, and have yet to eve venture into the handheld arena.
Sony and Nintendo, on the other hand have been at this a lot longer. Heck, between the two of them, they nearly put Sega out of business (and they DID kick them right out of the console business, after the DreamCast flopped). But they’ve also had their own ups and downs over the years (I’m looking at you, N64, VirtualBoy, and PSP…). Nintendo has shown time and again that it has staying power, even during the lean years for the game industry (in fact, they’re nearly single-handedly responsible for jump-starting the gaming industry back when it stalled in the 80s), but Sony’s no slouch (the PS2 has, arguably, the best game library in history and it invented the whole backward compatibility thing).
Now if you’re talking best console rather than best brand, then that depends entirely on the games… and since most of my favorite games are on (or in some cases will, at least, play on) PS2, I’m going to go with that.
