Classic Game Room HD reviews MARIO KART DS for the nintendo ds released in 2005. This handheld version of Mario Kart is very similar to the newer Mario Kart Wii with wild, outrageous tracks, rowdy gameplay and multiplayer. More than 30 courses, new and old, greet players looking for fun in one of the best arcade racing series ever created. Is Mario Kart DS better than Super Mario Kart or Mario Kart Super Circuit on GBA though? CGR misses the coins and more serious driving found in Super Circuit and the original 1992 release, but still loves the over the top racing gameplay and wild cast of characters. Everyone from Mario to Luigi is here with 4 different playable karts that have different speed and handling properties. This CGR review of Mario Kart DS has gameplay from the Nintendo DS release of Mario Kart DS in HD showing game play in this Nintendo driving game. Fans of the series probably already have this installment which has the 50cc, 100cc and 150cc races as well as time trials. You cant go wrong with MarioKart DS any time, anywhere. Just marvel at how much fun it looks in the Mariokart DS gameplay from the Nintendo DS game play.

    I have this game and back when i was younger me and all the kids that had a ds on the bus would play this via ds download and yell at eachother throughout the bus drive. it was pretty sweet

    The Crash Bandicoot kart games are cool too… i think they are underrated.

    I am very interested on what you will think of mario kart double dash for the nintendo gamecube. i never thought much of it at first but i recently revisited it, and ive been playing a lot of super mario kart recently and they really tryed to do something really different. when you get the chance, check it out, its definatley worth it.

    CTR was a really good game, NTC sucked but ctr was actually up there with mario kart in my opinion. wasnt that strong in the multiplayer but for once a kart game had a fun campaign
