It is just a nintendo ds, NOT a lite or DSi. It is not calibrated and I have tried calibrating it for hours and it just won’t confirm. I have cleaned the screen, and used a toothbrush round the edges, any suggestions?
if its completely broken send it to nintendo and they will do it for free or if it works but is crap you need to go to settings and recalibrate the touch screen
well if all else fails just kick it

Looks like the touch screen is completely broken. You will have to take it to a shop such as Grainger Games, Game, Gamestation or any media shop and ask them to repair.

You can buy a replacement touchscreen on ebay really cheap. Ther’re really easy to fit, you’ll just need to also buy a small tri-wing screwdriver. You can find instructional vids on Youtube. Toatal cost £5 – £8. Just the touchscreen, not the LCD which is a separate layer below the ts.

Did this myself recently.
