Which one is the better of the two? Reasons?
I’d ask about the PSP go, but seeing as how I’m just getting back into video games, I’m not really interested in springing for the highest priced items, haha. So, keep in mind that I’m not exactly a hardcore gamer anymore … just tryna get back into the swing of gaming things, I guess, lol. 
I’ve had a DS Phat, DS Lite, and a DSi. I think the Lite is the worst of the three, mainly because the design of the system is pretty bad. Those things get hinge cracks like there’s no tomorrow, and shoulder buttons can’t be expected to last for more than a year unless you’re really lucky. It IS brighter than the original DS, but that’s about the only advantage over it. The only thing it has over the DSi is the GBA slot, which it managed to ruin anyway, since the game juts out like half an inch from the system while it’s inserted.
DSi also has bigger (even moreso with the new XL/LL), brighter screens, is more powerful, has some decent exclusive games in terms of DSiWare, and it’s supposedly going to get some DSi-exclusive games as well.
Also, a quick thing about your PSP question. I wouldn’t recommend the Go to ANYONE. The PSP 3000 (and 1000/2000, but they’re out of print) can do MUCH more, and they’re a LOT cheaper as well. The Go has absolutely nothing over the other models. It’s quite a bit more expensive, it CAN’T play any UMD games, which means that the system can’t even play half of the PSP’s library (including some really great games), since you can only play games from Sony’s PlayStation Store online, which is usually severely overpriced in itself. Even if you for some reason like the whole digital-download thing, the other PSP models can do it, not just the Go. And a 3000 with a 16GB memory stick is cheaper than the Go, believe it or not.
personally, there both good the DSi just has more features and also has internet and the DS lite just has wifi

I had a DS and now I have a DSi. With the DS you have the option of playing old game boy advance games. If you do not care about the ability to play game boy advance games then I would suggest the DSi. Also the DSi gives you the option of downloading games onto your system just like the Wii and has Wi-Fi capability.

Nintendo DS Lite has backwards compatibility with Game Boy Advance games and better light settings.
Nintendo DSi has online features similar to the Nintendo Wii’s, has a built in camera and has larger screens, but the battery life is shorter than the DS lite.
So overall which one you want is based on your own personal preference. Would you rather have a DS with multiple light settings and backwards compatibility, but less durability and no online features, or the DSi which has online features and a built in camera, but has no backwards compatibility and shorter battery life? The decision is up to you.

Well the DSi is a DSlite but with alot more features. Im sure nintendo advertised what DSi could do so you may already know. If you just wanna play some damn DS game without spending a little more then you should get the DS lite. But if you want the camera, web browser, ability to download games, have an external source of memory ect ect.
But Id say that the extra money is worth getting the DSi so get the DSi if you have the cash.
IF you don’t already have an old PSP phat its completely hackable you know…
