can i trade pokemon from a nintendo ds game to a game boy advance game?

i have the pokemon game soul silver for nintendo ds. I also have the game ruby for game boy. Can i trade pokemon from ruby to soul silver?

If you have/read the instruction booklet for Soul Silver you would not need to ask this.
You cannot trade with those game, but you can migrate/import the PKMN from the Ruby version by putting it below the DS/DSL (second slot B)
You can migrate once u arrive at Kanro/Fushsia City/Pal Park.

    no, it has to be the same game type. so you can’t go from a ds game to an advance game
