how can i tell my parents to buy me a nintendo ds lite?

i got nice marks in all subjects- all above 75%.
but i dont no how to tell my parents to buy me a nintendo ds lite?

Say,
"Mom, Dad, I was looking at game systems and I would like to get a DS Lite. I got really good grades and I will help pay for it"

Offer to pay a fraction of the price or do extra things around your house like laundry, dishes or dusting.
You can get a DS Lite pretty cheap now that the Dsi is out so it shouldn’t be too expensive. I think you can get them for like $100 now, and even cheaper if you buy one used.

Well good luck and when you get your DS Lite I hope you enjoy it.

  3. first if you have any siblings bribe them to shut-up for a few days, then be really nice to your parents for a few days and ask nothing in return.
then tell them how wonderful they are and how wonderful the ds lite is! (do this with your mom! watever you do! dont ask infront of both parents!)

  5. You can’t tell your parents to do anything but you can ask them nicely.

Honestly, it depends on what kind of people your parents are.

In my experience, I did not get rewarded simply for doing well in school. I’ve found that with my parents, I was more likely to get the things that I wanted by doing what they expected and beyond.

The most important thing to remember is that you are not entitled to a DS. So if you don’t get one after all the good that you’ve done- it happens.

  6. Just show them a picture of one in a catalogue and say "Oooh I really want one of those" or "They look so good, I wish I had one.." ect.
They might get the message if you say this. If it doesn’t work just say " Can I please get one, I got really good results". Or something like that. I’m not sure what your parents are like so whatever you think fits the best.
