I was lucky enough to get this DS lite since it was only available at the game’s launch event at Nintendo World Store in NY. Nintendo only made a handful of this DS lite (I believe there are only 100 of these smexy babies). It looks different than the pics online because the red&black GTA ds lite as only given to the first person at the lauch event. I think this one looks sexier – the shade of red made the ds look cheap
The music is the game’s theme itself

Classic Game Room HD reviews SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: STRANGE JOURNEY for nintendo ds from Atlus. With more than 300 demons to battle or recruit and a wild storyline taking place in Antarctica, Strange Journey is just that… a strange journey into an anomole spreading to destroy the Earth. Although this Shin Megami Tensei game seems to be the most grounded out of the several I’ve played lately. Fans of good old school adventure RPG games like Phantasy Star and The Dark Spire will dig this one. It packs that unique Shin Megami Tensei demon collecting and fusing style into a classic 1st person RPG video game that works well with the Nintendo DS. This CGR review of Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey has gameplay from the Nintendo DS release of Strange Journey showing video game play in HD action. You wear a cool suit in this game called the Demonica suit which gets more powerful as you gain experience. Players can upgrade the suit and buy new weapons, items, sub-apps and armor with Forma and items found within the anomole. Classic RPG adventure gameplay with that catchy Shin Megami Tensei style make this a must play for role playing game fans with a Nintendo DS. Video game comes packed in some of the best looking packaging that we’ve seen in years along with a soundtrack CD containing the unique music from the game.

Classic Game Room HD reviews the NINTENDO DS LITE handheld video game console! From Nintendo, the DS Lite has brighter screens and weighs less than the previous model but retains the Gameboy Advance slot that was f—-n removed in the Nintendo DSi. What!? They removed one of the best features?? Yes, yes the did. And the penalty is that CGR recommends the Nintendo DS Lite because of the MASSIVE library of awesome (and many not-so-awesome) games available on Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance media. The nintendo ds (all models) have sole more than 115 million units putting it up there with Playstation 2 PS2 numbers. The PSP isn’t the portable Playstation 2, this thing is. The DS had a wide, eclectic array of software titles available for it. Awesome Nintendo exclusives, RPG games, adventure, 2D side scrollers, strategy and puzzle games. It’s built like a tank, has excellent battery life and even comes with a sometimes-cool touchscreen. This CGR review of the Nintendo DS Lite has footage of the DS showing what this piece of Nintendo hardware looks like in HD video.

Classic Game Room HD reviews PONG for the Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance. Pong, published by Atari on the GBA game cartridge, comes with Yars’ Revenge and Asteroids. Pong was originally released in 1972 and programmed by Allan Alcorn, distributed by the Atari of Nolan Bushnell. One of the most iconic video games ever created and regarded as the first “commercially successful” video game, Pong enjoys worldwide fame to this day. Pong was originally played with an analog control, or paddle (or knob) and was considered a sports game replicating tennis. Pong on the nintendo ds can be played one player or two player, player one controls the block (or paddle) with the D-Pad and plays the CPU. In a two player game, player 1 uses the d pad and player 2 uses the buttons. Graphically solid and with excellent Pong-sounds (beep, boop), Pong loses much of the fun when played with a D-pad that is essentially a digital on and off controller. Buy this game cartridge to get Yars’ Revenge and Asteroids. Pong is an awesome game and should be played in its original form with a paddle or some form of analog controller. Early Atari paddle games are nothing more than advanced versions of Pong, Pong is the original awesome paddle game! This CGRHD review of Pong has gameplay footage from Pong recorded in High Definition. Classic Game Room HD reviews Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS video games as a Nintendo DS reviewer reviewing games like Pong! Pong is seen in commercials and television shows like Futurama.

Classic Game Room HD reviews ASTEROIDS for Nintendo DS / Gameboy Advance GBA portable video game system. This Asteroids review filmed on Nintendo DS has gameplay footage from Asteroids, originally an arcade classic from 1979! Published by Atari, Asteroids retains the original vector graphics style old school retro 1980’s arcade coin-op classic video game feel that we all love. The game cartridge for Gameboy Advance works on nintendo ds (not DSi) and also comes with Pong and Yars’ Revenge on the same cart. Dope!
